This is in the 'dingbat' genre..... the letters give you the different frames to use. Free to download.

I've made them into a digikit for CA, and will put the link in the Shares section. :)

I've just had a play with a few of the frames in Craft Artist and broke them down into parts so that I could change colours.  The results are quite good. I think I'll be playing with this one again! :)

I've just looked at the font download page again and it says there are 62 fonts.  I've only managed to find 26. Maybe this free download doesn't have as many? The full version is a whopping 14 on Etsy!

The font says it's a demo so it's probably just a taster in the hope you'll buy the full version

Lynn, I love what you have done, but please could you take pity on (a still) novice CA user and let me know how you break an image into parts. :)

I am sure Doreen is correct that this is a taster, but what a great one.  26 is pretty generous in my book. :)

Hi Jennie.
Firstly, use the line function to thicken the outside line of the design -  only slightly, 0.5, and this will enable you to detach it from the rest of the design. Right click and select detach line.
Once you have detached it and moved it to one side, select the inside parts and then break apart by using the option Break Apart, under Arrange on the right hand side of your screen.
Once broken apart, you can recolour, group pieces as you wish them to be grouped and then put the outside line back again. Use style options to give  embossed looks to your pieces.

I'll try and do a video later on if that would be better?

Thank you Lynn - I will give it a go at some point, but I am another who would appreciate a video. :)  I really need a couple of weeks to devote to learning what I can do on CA, but time always seems to elude me. :)

Thanks Lynn. I haven't even had time to look at the font let alone play with it, so you have inspired me to do more than I'd have thought of with it.

There are many places to get help with CA, and of course, we will help as much as we can on here. Let us know if there is anything you need help. :)

You can always start by choosing one of the ready designed projects from the get started menu....... select CHOOSE A TEMPLATE.
Some will pop up, depending on what kits you have loaded up. Hit OK and the card will come into the work area with all the component parts down the left hand side. There you can practice moving bits about, adding a name for instance and getting printing. If you open the different categories in the left hand side bar you will find alternatives to what is in the design, just add some in and take some out.
It's a very easy or complicated program, as YOU choose. And the HELP menu is always there if 'we' aren't.
