My hands got smothered in printer ink the other day and I searched the web for ways to get it off. The one that worked for me, and very quickly and easily too, was this:- add some washing up liquid to a bowl of warm water and pour in some bleach, a little at a time. They say 1 part bleach to 10 parts water. It worked a treat so I thought I'd pass on the tip.

Shampoo is great for getting bird muck off of your car, (or boat). Just put a blob on top of the dicky do, leave it to soak in and wash off. It has the right formulation to neutralise the acid that ruins the paintwork apparently. I tried it on dried on ducky do on Jannock's roof this summer. It came off a lot more easily that usual. Worked on the car too.

I am cleaning my washing machine with bleach as we speak. Trouble is i only had the thich stuff and it bubbles up. There are bubbles come out of every orifice like a cartoon.

The cheap and easy cleaners are the best despite what 'they' try to sell us i reckon.

I thought it was dangerous to mix bleach with anything else. I thought it gave  off fumes of some sort.
I try liquid soap mix with sugar to et rid of greasy hands or ingrained dirt.

Surely 'chicky do' is produced by chickens ?

......I would have thought ' clucky do' was more fitting Cheesy
