Can anyone help please?  I've designed a Christmas card and want to try 'print and cut' using my new purchase SCAL.  Now I've designed it in CAP2 but when I try to export it as an SVG, the mat is fine, but the NOEL word, which has a pattern on it, comes out as 'bits'!  Any advice please?

It's been ages since I used CAP to design and have always wanted to do this NOEL card, which I've seen lots of on the forum (lastly from Lynn), so I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes!

Wink I think your main problem is that it is a Christmas card. You shouldn't be making Christmas cards yet. try it again in December and it might work! Grin Grin

You could try saving as a PNG and tracing it in SCAL or can you upload a screenshot if we can see how to help you

I think you export as a png file Chris, as Doreen said.
Then trace into scal.

You can export as an SVG too but depending on what's happening it might be easier/quicker to use the trace option

Ooh thanks ladies - will try all those suggestions and see how I get on!  Been desperate to try both the card and the new programme.

Carole - mwahahahahahaha!
