There is an offer going around at the moment, especially on Facebook......3 magazines for £3 .....BUT please read the terms and conditions.
It is a direct debit and this is in the T&C

On occasions we may offer short term trial subscriptions for customers paying by Direct Debit e.g. 12 issues for £1. At the end of this trial subscription, the price you pay will revert back to the then current standard subscription price

So because it is a direct debit, they will continue to take money from your account after the offer has finished.......Please be careful.

Thanks for the warning Val. I donít often buy craft mags, as they are so expensive.

Well spotted Val, and thanks for the reminder about direct debits. Citizens Advice get a regular trickle of folk who believe that their bills will stop when an introductory offer finishes and they don't stop the DD. Val is so right, read the small print!

There are a few 'coin' offers around just now, and I bet there will be collectors' sets of coins, medals and pottery about for the royal wedding very soon. Read the very small print and don't believe the claim that any of that stuff will increase in value. It's never an investment! Only buy the bits you love and don't leave payments to be made open ended by time or amount. Cancel as soon as you have YOUR choice.
