I think I was told on here, but the snipping tool comes with windows, you just have to find it.

Click on the windows icon on the bottom left of your screen, and pop "snipping tool" into the search box. If it's on your windows it will find it.
I have put mine on my bottom tool bar, so it's handy all the time..

It's useful for full screen shots, or you can do just the area you need to snip.
You can also email the snip direct from the "save"
Very handy to have.
TRY IT!

Thanks for pointing me to this Val. OH has decided it could be the best computing tip he has had all year! It will save him a lot of time with his work (and make his reports look much more professional and will allow him to relate directly to e-mails and technical documents, brilliant!)
It's on the desktop.

my snipping tool broke some time ago, probably from over use. so now I use the lightshot tool. It does the same.
