Hi crafters, have been sent a lovely card for Christmas and need your help in sourcing the card die, have googled it but to no avail.  It could be used for everyday aswell as Christmas and it is a diorama type card, folds flat for posting then pull the sides to make it box shape.

Hope you can help, regards Lisa xx

Is the whole die for diarama do you think, or has a die been used for the top-middle and then on each sides and the fold put in to suit? Have you asked the sender who they got the card from, assuming they did not make it themselves? You might track it that way.

I've resized it Lisa so that we can see the die clearly. Smiley
Have you asked the person that sent it to you? If they made the card, I'm sure they'd be chuffed that you like it so much you want to know more.
Looking closely, I think Doreen has found it for you.  You just need the pattern for the shaped card now. Smiley

Thank you ladies, I knew I could count on you, and thanks to Lynn for resizing the photo.

I have asked the sender where she got it from as I know she didn’t make it herself, but not had a reply as yet.

I think that’s the one Doreen, I wrongly assumed it was a complete die for diorama which was probably why I couldn’t find anything on the internet.  On closer inspection of the card it has been made in 2 card pieces, front and back using the edger Doreen found twice along the top (flipping it over) and on each side (also flipping it), scoring down the sides, cutting out the centre with a square die but the back would have been fussy cut around the edges at the sides.

Very clever use of an edger die I love the card shape this creates.

Thank you again,  regards Lisa xx

Well done for hunting it down, and well done for working out how the card was made. I hope that you will show us your version IF you get it and make cards with it.  Kiss

I have had this from Ali express for some time, it is 4 1/2 inches cutting length.

Sometimes I wonder if the chinese dies are the same size as others we see, any one had any of the more expensive dies to campare sizes with?

Hi Ann, I have measured the one I have which is a Die'sire Edge'ables Lattice Flourish - fanfare. its 4.6" x 1.2" (118mm x 29mm)  I got mine free from a magazine about 6months ago.

Would you be able to find it on Alliexpress ? It might help if you remember who the seller was!

The link to the one I found was an original on Ebay

I have that die, and it's a blue one, which indicates to me that it is a Marianne die.

Thanks for the link Carole, I was about to get my sister in the uk to get it for me from this seller but just before, noticed the item had ‘ended’.  Now I can’t seem to find it anywhere.  I also have the Marianne ‘blue’ colour die but this doesn’t cut on the outside edge and is bigger.

Probably will have to play the waiting game until it comes up again.
