To alter the colour of one of my shapers, when I did my latest card.
My friend said her sister loved aubergine. I found what I thought would do, but I couldn't get it dark enough in CAP.
So in the end made do with as dark as I could get it.

Today I had another play but darkened it in Paint.net........brilliant, but I wish I could have done it in CAP.

Does anyone have any ideas??

That's interesting Val. Can you show us a sample of the colour you wanted?

You can also convert your image to a picture and make it darker by using the icon where the red arrow is pointing in the screenshot

I thought this was a good aubergine Val. Smiley I recoloured it from cream.

My interpretation is more on the reddish purple side,  it's the last card I posted Lynn.

The first snip is the original colour and the colour I ended up using. the second snip is the second image darkened the way Doreen suggested, more the colour I wanted. Thank you Doreen, easy when you know how. And thank you too Lynn.

just had another look at the one I did in Paint.net and I think I prefer it, as it leaves the white bits white.....see snip3.( on the right) There doesn't seem to be much difference on my screen but it's definitely a fair bit darker.
