A great site for lovely fonts - http://bythebutterfly.com/myfonts.php

These are Val's excellent  instructions for installing fonts, and even I can follow them!

Click on link to download
choose open
click extract all files
Choose browse
click my computer
Click C drive
Click windows
scroll down for fonts
now press ok

that will download it into your fonts folder.

I use  NexusFont, it works well will install fonts with a click, you can keep your fonts in any folder and it will scan them and add to your library(folders) and you can use sets for collections, ie I will set one up with all the fonts you ladies recomend, I have one for artdeco fonts, wedding fonts etc .
Also while it's running all fonts even one that you haven't installed into the windows font folder, will be available in any program, no need to install them, which is great
heres the download link

Fab idea Cal, thanks for doing this.  There are some lovely ones there. Maybe we can help put where they are all available from to download.  I guess we also need a tut on downloading and installing fonts too.  Only ideas! lol I'm not volunteering, lol

I've added a few addresses on some of the fonts.

Thanks for the links ladies and to Cal for the list, off to look at the ones I haven't got.
If anyone is interested and as I'm a bit of a font fanatic (I must have over 10K )I use a font manager to install/manage them. For years I used AMP font viewer which I still love but it crashes too much on Windows 7 so after trying out a few I've settled with NexusFont, it works well will install fonts with a click, you can keep your fonts in any folder and it will scan them and add to your library(folders) and you can use sets for collections, ie I will set one up with all the fonts you ladies recomend, I have one for artdeco fonts, wedding fonts etc .

heres the download link  http://xiles.net/nexusfont/

Thank you Chris. I also used to love AMP but although others have said it is fine with W7, I have found it is not good.  I use Font Explorer, but will certainly go and see if I like Nexus.  I love fonts and dingbats, so I don't install them all. Wow, 10K is amazing!!!

Thanks for the extra bits added to this post, I think it may be very useful to a lot of people Smiley

I have now coloured the name of the font to separate it from the URL, I think it makes it easier to see this way Smiley
